Most asked

  • LYD Plumber is VCPility for Plumbers and Handymen: an AI receptionist, missed-call text-back, CRM, website, SEO and reviews in one managed platform, built for Australian plumbing and handyman businesses. It is delivered by Sharktech Global as part of the Launch Your Dream AI Series.
  • It speaks naturally, introduces itself as your assistant and uses the greeting you approve. When it cannot help, it takes the caller details and texts you straight away so you can call back.
  • LYD Plumber works alongside the job management software you already use. It captures and follows up the work, and your job system keeps running the job. We will confirm the connection for your software during your demo.
  • It never gives gas, electrical or water safety advice. For a reported gas leak it tells the caller to leave the area and call their gas distributor emergency line or 000, then alerts your on-call plumber. Burst pipes and other urgent jobs are sent to your on-call plumber straight away.
  • No. It records the dates and reminds your team, for example for Certificates of Compliance and annual backflow tests. The licensed plumber still lodges the paperwork with the regulator.
  • Yes. Handyman websites only list the work you are licensed or permitted to do in your state, and the CRM can warn you before you quote a job above your state licence limit.
  • The trial is on the Launch plan. There is no set-up fee, and the AI receptionist and chatbots are included. Your card is taken at sign-up and charged on day 31 unless you cancel. During the trial you get our ready-made template set-up; the full done-for-you set-up starts when you pay.
  • Monthly billing is month to month with 30 days notice. You own your customer data, and we export it for you within 30 days if you leave. Your Google reviews stay on your Google Business Profile.
  • Plans start at $50 + GST a month for Starter. Launch is $170 + GST a month on annual billing or $190 month to month, Elevate is $460 or $529, and Dominate is $710 or $749. Custom plans are quoted after a discovery call.

Trial and billing

  • The 30-day free trial is on the Launch plan, which is $170 + GST a month on annual billing or $190 + GST month to month. There is no set-up fee.
  • Yes. Your card is taken at sign-up and nothing is charged during the trial. It is billed automatically on day 31 unless you cancel before then.
  • Trial clients get our ready-made plumbing and handyman template set-up, with the AI receptionist and chatbots included. The full done-for-you set-up starts once you become a paying client.
  • Yes. Starter is $50 + GST a month, monthly or annually, and is self-serve: you are live in 60 minutes from our template, without the done-for-you set-up.
  • Annual billing is charged at 12 times the annual monthly price. The free StoryBrand website on Elevate and Dominate is for annual billing, or a 12-month minimum on monthly billing.
  • Usage such as SMS, calls, phone numbers and AI messages is billed on top at rates confirmed with you beforehand. Extra AI voice minutes are $0.68 + GST a minute, only up to the monthly budget you set.
  • All prices are in Australian dollars, per month, and exclude GST. We show "+ GST" on every price.

AI receptionist

  • Launch includes 30 minutes a month, Elevate 60 and Dominate 100. Extra minutes are $0.68 + GST each, counted only while the AI is answering calls, and only up to the budget you set.
  • Calls go to your mobile or voicemail instead, so you never pay more than the budget you chose. You can change the budget any month.
  • You do. The AI only answers from content you approve, and it never gives gas, electrical or water safety advice.
  • Yes. Customers see and hear your business name, logo and number on every call greeting, text, email, invoice and booking page.

Compliance and licensing

  • No. We understand the licensing and paperwork rules plumbing and handyman businesses work under, and we build reminders around them, but we are not a regulator or a law firm. Check compliance questions with your regulator or adviser.
  • The Building and Plumbing Commission (BPC), which replaced the Victorian Building Authority (VBA) on 1 July 2025. Websites we build for Victorian plumbers refer to the BPC.
  • Yes. Custom date fields and workflows create a task and reminder for each certificate or notice that is due. The licensed plumber still lodges the paperwork.
  • Yes. Each testable device can carry a due date, and the customer is reminded to rebook before the annual test falls due.
  • No. Handyman websites only list work you are licensed or permitted to do in your state, and never plumbing, gas fitting or electrical work you are not licensed for.

Data and leaving

  • Monthly billing is month to month with 30 days notice. Annual billing is a 12-month plan.
  • You do. If you leave, we provide a full export of your customer data within 30 days.
  • Your content and customer data are yours, and your Google reviews stay on your Google Business Profile.
