Privacy policy

LYD Plumber is a product of Sharktech Global ("we", "us"). This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use lydplumber.com, book a demo, start a trial or use the VCPility platform. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

• Contact details you give us, such as your name, business name, email, phone number and suburb.
• Details about your business that you share with us, such as your trade, team size and the software you use.
• Billing details, which are processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.
• How you use our website, such as pages visited and the campaign that brought you here (UTM tags), through cookies and similar tools.
• For clients: the information your customers send through the platform, which we hold on your behalf.

How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry, run your demo and set up your account.
• To provide, support and bill for the platform.
• To measure which marketing works, and to send you updates you can unsubscribe from at any time.
• To meet our legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the platform and our business, such as our CRM and hosting providers, payment processors, and analytics and advertising platforms. Some of these providers may store information outside Australia. We do not sell personal information.

Your customers' information

If you are a client, you control the information your customers give you through the platform. We process it on your behalf to provide the service. You own your customer data and can ask for a full export, which we provide within 30 days if you leave.

Keeping it secure

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or make a privacy complaint, by contacting us at sales@lydplumber.com.au or on 0468 017 373. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
